Character InformationName: Lyanna Stark
Canon: A Song of Ice and Fire
Canon Point: just before she dies in the Tower of Joy giving birth to her son
Age: 16, but aged up to 18 per discussion with the mods
(Canon) Background: WikiAbilities: Lyanna is skilled on a horse, and is said to have even practiced tilting at the rings, a form of jousting in which the horseman rides at full gallop and inserts his lance through small metal rings. She can use a sword, though she's never been permitted to carry one by her father. She also knows how to clean and bandage wounds.
Personality: Lyanna is strong-willed, often described as having a touch of wildness to her. Her House has a reputation for being honorable and just, and she has a strong sense of that; she'd once seen to the defense of a bullied young man, his family loyal vassals to hers, fending off his bullies with a tourney sword. Her wildness and boyishness may have been influenced by the fact that in the North, there are women warriors, notably the Mormonts of Bear Island, plus she's the only girl among four siblings, and she's close with all her brothers. She's known to speak openly with Ned, one of her older brothers; she'd poured wine over her younger brother Benjen's head when he'd made fun of her for crying; while Brandon, their eldest, had been on his way to his wedding when he'd learned she'd disappeared, and had changed course to the capital to bring her back.
While she's described by her own father as having "wolf blood," her stubbornness hasn't really equated to disobedience and rebellion. She'd accepted, though begrudgingly, her betrothal to the Lord of Storm's End, and she didn't go around wearing a sword because her father forbade it. (It is, however, widely speculated that she'd disguised herself to participate in the tourney at Harrenhal as the Knight of the Laughing Tree, who defeated the three bullies that she'd confronted earlier the event.) Her dutifulness is perhaps why her elopement with Rhaegar had been interpreted as an abduction, because her family could not believe she would run off with the (then married) prince on her own accord and bring dishonor to her House.
The Starks, however, are also known to be melancholic and brooding, and after all that she's been through, it would be no surprise if she starts to embody that as well.
Inventory: Just the bloody dress she's wearing on her deathbed, and, for some inexplicable reason, some dead rose petals in her hand.
Which of the following would they most like to have in abundance: limitless good luck, the freedom to act without restraint, the ability to teach and to learn, or for everyone to just relax? Freedom to act without restraint! Lyanna has always been on the wilder side, boyish even despite her upbringing as a lady, and while recent events have tamed that some, she still would want to be free of political machinations and courtly expectations, living and loving as she pleases.
